There's a chance that this is caused by the buffer format, but it could also be
the high bit depth sent to the screen. No other desktop, or any software really
has used either before on Linux...
Please try setting
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/wikis/Environment-Variables#kwin_drm_prefer_color_depth
to 30, and if that doesn't help, to 24. If that removes the glitches, then we
know it's the bit depth sent to the screen.
