It seems to happen most when trying to open up the app launcher. As other reporters have mentioned with similar bugs, this happens most often after the system is coming back from suspend. It will crash once when the app launcher is launched, or sometimes when the mouse goes over elements in the task bar. Then it doesn't crash again until usually the next day or hours later when returning from suspend.
