+1 for being able to hide this icon completely again. I have zero use for it
and it is ugly. I can understand other people find it useful but you can't just
remove the option to hide the icon in my opinion.
Apart from that, my panel size is 28 and the volume icon is really too small to
click in a user friendly manner. Muting it would be more convenient through a
right click menu or the application preview that also shows the volume bar.
