I have a problem with energy saving regarding the monitor turning off after a
certain amount of time. when the time expires the monitor turns off. but after
about ten seconds I hear the audio beep like a peripheral disconnecting and
reconnecting, and the image reappears, without me having touched anything on
the desktop, the mouse, the keyboard. the same problem also occurs when
starting kde, when it seems that the monitor disconnects and reconnects. the
monitor is connected via HDMI.
