popup for "alternative widgets" blocking use of color picker gadgets

is a bug for me as i do not know how to disable the on-hover effect.

Hovering mouse near taskbar items causes an always on top accidental modal
popup to visually block my use of focussed foreground application - see
screenshot.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I was running "paru" by itself a bit recently i don't remember changing or
asking for this popup to appear I usually disable the "show app thumbnail on
hover" etc.
OBSERVED RESULT
Normally closing the popup is only possible by clicking [x] at top right but
this is undesirtable as I wish to keep the window open. :)
EXPECTED RESULT
I have all on mouise hover popups (except tooltips) disabled for the taskbar.
