Bug ID: 500405
Summary: With the Plasma 6.3 update, colors appear washed out.
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.3
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: critical
Priority: NOR
Component: colour-management
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Hello,
With the Plasma 6.3 update, various issues have occurred in the system. Most of
these are graphical glitches, but I have no doubt that they will be fixed in
future bug-fix updates. In fact, I am not writing this message about those
issues. (The issues I mentioned have already been fixed in version 6.3.1.)
The problem that truly frustrates me is that, in version 6.3, when I select the
"built-in" color profile from the "Display Configuration" section, the colors,
which used to be vibrant, now appear washed out. This makes looking at the
screen unpleasant. Because of this, I had to downgrade to version 6.2.5.
In versions 6.2.5 and earlier, when I set the color profile to "built-in," I
was getting excellent color accuracy. Unfortunately, I am also unable to create
a custom ICC profile myself.
This issue is critically important to me, and I would greatly appreciate it if
you could look into it.
Best regards.
