            Bug ID: 500299
Summary: KGet floods the journald log with thousands of debug
                    messages
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kget
           Version: 24.12.2
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: k...@kde.org
          Reporter: zuv...@informbay.com
                CC: wbau...@a1.net
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
KGet spams the journald log with an enormous number of identical debug messages
in the form of:
"Recalculate limits? false"
occasionally interrupted by:
"My Downloads"
(the name of the currently used transfer group).

This messages provide no useful information and are frankly just annoying.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start a download in KGet
2. Open KSystemLog to view the journald log
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
KGet generates thousands of log messages.

EXPECTED RESULT
Limit the number of log entries to a sane amount.
Ideally provide the option to set the log level in the KGet settings.
