If it is fixed by turning off Night Light, I would guess it's the same cause as
bug 499987; see also bug 500021 where turning off Night Light improved
performance.
This should be fixed in 6.3.1, releasing tomorrow, so please reopen if it still
happens after you upgrade to that version.
