            Bug ID: 500231
Summary: Files do not load when files are opened using drag and
                    dropped (shows error message)
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kgeotag
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: t...@stonemx.de
          Reporter: bugs_kde_org.5.k...@spamgourmet.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When I want to add an image with drag and drop, I get an error message which
tells me to check if the image type is supported and that I have read access to
it.

I use the same PC and folder location I did (no idea how many) hundred times
before. So it _should_ work. As far as I recall this function worked under 1.6
and KDE 6.2. I can't tell if it's KGeoTag 1.7 or the update to Plasma 6.3.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Take any image
2. Drag it onto the app window

OBSERVED RESULT
Error message

EXPECTED RESULT
No error message

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The image loads just fine when you use the menu (so it looks like the app
only has problems with files that are drag&dropped on the app window)
- I created an empty image with default settings in GIMP and it still wasn't
loading with drag&drop. (I tested this to be sure that it was not the image I
saved with the RC of GIMP 3.0)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KGeoTag:
- Version 1.7.0

System info:
- Operating System: KDE neon 6.2
- KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0
- KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
- Qt Version: 6.8.2
- Kernel Version: 6.11.0-17-generic (64-bit)
- Graphics Platform: Wayland
