I have the same issue with krunner not opening until it's reloaded.
There is Qt6 6.9.0beta2 in Arch Linux KDE-Unstable repository.
I decided to try and upgrade to it, and the issue with krunner disappeared, no
more "eglSwapBuffers failed" errors!
So, I believe this is indeed a problem with Qt itself, and it is fixed in the
beta version of Qt 6.9.
