Please remove this eyesore of an icon. It makes 0 sense to disable the ability
of hiding the icon. Matter of fact, prior to 6.3 release, not only did the icon
hide, but also did the slider indicator of volume, which appeared when hovering
on a task bar entry.
There were many times where I accidentally lowered an app's volume when
switching between windows with a mouse.
Please bring back old functionality.
