I started to experience this on one of my computers (Ubuntu 24.04.2). Curiously
another machine with the same system is fine. Nvidias and plasma_x11 on both:
- problematic: NVIDIA GP108 [GeForce GT 1030]
- working OK: NVIDIA GK208B [GeForce GT 710]
I have to kill -9 kscreenlocker_greet and loginctl unlock-session from terminal
to unlock the screen.
While the problem is there, kscreenlocker_greet thread named
QSGRenderThread
is occupying 100% CPU
