Henrik Ala-Uotila <bugs.kde....@lupu.fi> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bugs.kde....@lupu.fi --- Comment #2 from Henrik Ala-Uotila <bugs.kde....@lupu.fi> --- I ran into this issue recently and looked for existing bugs before filing a new one. This is now occuring both with gwenview 16.08.2 in Fedora 24 as well as gwenview 4.13.1 in Ubuntu 14.04.5. As soon as I open my phone camera's photo directory(with some 4400 images), gwenview's memory usage starts to grow to the point that the system gets choked and eventually the OOM killer kicks in. It appears as if browsing a directory loads all thumbnails into RAM regardless of the number of entries within that directory... for now I worked around this limitation by moving the images into smaller subdirectories. Is there anything else I could provide to help at narrowing down the issue? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
