            Bug ID: 499953
           Summary: plasmashell crashed occasionally with
                    "malloc_consolidate(): unaligned fastbin chunk
detected" when clicking on the Networks icon in the
                    system tray
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.3.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: drkonqi
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic-crash
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: matt.fagn...@bell.net
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (6.3.0)

ApplicationNotResponding [ANR]: false
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Operating System: Linux 6.14.0-0.rc2.22.fc43.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: "Fedora Linux 43 (KDE Plasma Prerelease)"
DrKonqi: 6.3.0 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
I booted the Fedora Rawhide KDE live image
Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-Rawhide-20250212.n.0.x86_64.iso on bare metal. Plasma
6.3.0 on Wayland started. I clicked on the Networks icon in the system tray
repeatedly. plasmashell crashed with the error "malloc_consolidate(): unaligned
fastbin chunk detected" when I clicked on the Networks icon one of those times.
The trace was different from other crashes I've reported such as Bug 499927,
Bug 499218, and Bug 499185, and plasmashell crashed with traces like those when
clicking on the Networks icon earlier in the same session. The problem might be
due to a GCC 15 problem with C++ coroutines
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499218#c4

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
