I was able to remove the speaker icon in the past, but the option to do so seems to no longer exist in the settings. I tried these (help) pages - https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/10r23y9/how_to_remove_mute_icon_on_icons_only_task_manager/ - https://discuss.kde.org/t/audio-in-taskbar-any-way-to-disable/15871 but the described option does no longer exist in the settings for the panel STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Play audio in any application 2. Open the Icons-Only taskbar settings 3. The setting does no longer exist OBSERVED RESULT Speaker icon can not be removed EXPECTED RESULT Speaker icon can be removed (as it was the case until now) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONSOperating System: KDE neon 6.2 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.11.0-17-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 7530U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 29.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 21KK System Version: ThinkBook 16 G6 ABP ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The speaker appeared after I updated KDE from 6.2 to 6.3.
