Something different: ffmpeg doesn't seem to continue new clips after the hang/freeze. If many clips are selected to transcode, a random assortment are finished and others are not. The project folder is littered with "<clip name>", "<clip name>-60fps", "<clip name>0001-60fps", and "<clip name>0002-60fps", in descending amounts because of this.
