I can't reproduce this, but I think it might be hidden by another bug (or
feature?)...
I used the instructions in the initial post, however when I do step 5 my new
folder is no longer highlighted and the F11 Information Panel shows the
information about the folder I'm in. So when I click on my new folder, it shows
the correct size.
Can anyone else confirm this same behaviour on 24.12.1 or above?
