This isn't really related to KDE Connect, is it?
afaik this happens because something in Steam is using xtest to inject fake
input events into the system, which lands in the remote desktop system
triggering the prompt.
It's a known thing, but I can't find any concrete bugreport about it right now
(only https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490666 which is somewhat related)
