            Bug ID: 498994
Summary: 2-in-1 Laptop does not log back in after going to
sleep in tablet mode on battery
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.2.5
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Lock/logout widget
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: shvart...@proton.me
  Target Milestone: 1.0

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Leave 2-in-1 Laptop in tablet mode until it goes to sleep
2. Wake up laptop
3. Try to log back in to plasma

OBSERVED RESULT
Login is unresponsive; pressing Enter or the login button does nothing

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasma logs back in without issues

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 41 (KDE Spin)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I run a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 3rd Gen (20LD001HUS) with an i7-8650U. System
supports S3 sleep.
The bug has an easy workaround - press "Switch User" and log in that way. The
session is still saved, everything works, but it is annoying to have to do it
every time:) No clue if this is relevant, but this bug is not reproduced when I
am on AC power and in Performance mode. When I am on battery I am on Balanced.
