There's an option called 'Save history across desktop sessions.' Only with it
enabled does the clipboard work as expected on 6.2.90. Note that in order for
it to take effect plasmashell needs to be restarted.

Either in a browser (with 'copy image'), nomacs ('copy buffer') or Spectacle
after taking a screenshot.
