SUMMARY
I don't use kmail, or any other recommended tools for automatically parse an
email for flight information. So I thought I would add a flight manually.
I created a new trip. Added a flight to my destination — no issue inputting the
data. Then today, I tried to add my flight back home. But when setting the
time for departure the calendar that pops up is set to 1969-12-31 i.e. the unix
epoch. Only way to scroll is by month. Sadly my flight is this year so it took
a long time to scroll through each month. Also discovered that if you click the
suggested date it will go back to the selected date. Discovered that after I
had scrolled 10 years and tried to see if there was a way to manually input the
date...
And to add insult to injury, when I was done the save button was greyed out —
I'm guessing I had missed to input something. But when clicking around I hit
plan trip and it threw away my flight and I needed to start over. At that point
I gave up.
Just a note that my locale is in Swedish so I might not use the correct English
terminology in the app.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add new trip
2. Manually add a flight
3. Save
4. Select trip
5. Manually add another flight
6. Press the date icon to input a date for departure, or arrival.
OBSERVED RESULT
Starting at the unix epoch, 1969-12-31 with only option of scrolling monthly
EXPECTED RESULT
Start at today's date. And also have options to input the desired date by
keyboard similar to what you can do when specifying the time.
