--- Comment #4 from roman.di...@gmail.com --- Unfortunately modesetting was not the rootcause - it was just a "lucky reboot", since it doesn't happen all the time - just around 80%. It seems that there is something xembedsniproxy needs to have running in order to start up correctly. I've tried pushing the startup phase in the desktop file in /etc/xdg/autostart to phase 2 and even to 4, but no luck.
