This bug just happened to me, on Krita 5.2.6 and Windows operating system.
I couldn't understand why exactly this bug occurred, but I used Ellipse Tool
and Line Tool, used HSV Adjustment filter and enabled/disabled layer
visibility.
I'm working on a canon with proportions, so I'm using Ellipse Tool, Line Tool
and changing the color of the marks with HSV Adjustment filter.
In my normal drawing process I only use Brush Tool (+ Eraser), Pan, Zoom,
Transform and Move. I also create regular layers, layer masks and folders. I
interact with the Small Color Selector.
And in my normal drawing process, I have not had to deal with this bug.
Perhaps the reason is really due to the filters.
