--- Comment #4 from JeffG <wc.wccl.s...@gmail.com> --- On the iPad, I would get nothing. No errors. No faults. No indication of any failure. When I checked to see if any file was transferred to the iPad, nothing was transferred. When I tried again today, the iPad 6th generation is able to discover KDE Connect running on Kubuntu 24.04 LTS, but keeps timing out when trying to connect. the iPad is currently running iPadOS 17.7.3. The iPhone 11 does nothing when running KDE Connect. It is unable to see the iPad or Kubuntu 24.04 LTS when trying to use KDE Connect. The iPhone is running iOS 17.7.2. TCP and UDP ports 1714:1764 are allowed to accept incoming on Kubuntu, both IPv4 and IPv6. Just to make certain there was not any port conflict, I disabled the firewall with no change in results. I am convinced Apple did something when iOS_16.5 was released to prevent KDE Connect from being functional. Knowing how Apple does things, this would not surprise me. There is no problem with Kubuntu. I have a second computer running openSUSE Tumbleweed. I am able to connect and transfer files between Kubuntu and Tumbleweed without any issues, as intended, firewall enabled, TCP and UDP ports 1714:1764 accepting incoming.
