Krita works perfectly well out of the box with wacom tablets. If there are
problems, then those are always local configuration issues, even if "all my
other apps are getting pressure right".
Please check the faq first:
https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#What_if_your_tablet_is_not_recognized_by_Krita.3F
and make a tablet log so we can see whether the drivers are found at all.
