Experiencing half of the reported issue under Plasma 6.2.4 via System
Settings... in my experience it is only File Search that has the significant
delay.
1) Launch System Settings
2) Select Search... commence waiting 10+ seconds
3) Search inner sub-menu is loaded with File Search defaulted/selected and
displayed on the right
4) Switch to Plasma Search (via inner sub-menu)... transitions within a second
5) Switch back to File Search (via inner sub-menu)... commence waiting 10+
seconds
