Note that the fix (coming to 6.3.0) is for people who encounter this issue on a
new setup without pre-existing KWin output configuration. For everyone in here
for whom KWin/Wayland has already set brightness to 100%, please remember to
use the Brightness and Color applet to permanently change your monitor
brightness.
