Bug ID: 497537 Summary: [Feature request] add an option to view previous wallpaper when using wallpaper slideshow style on the desktop Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Desktop Containment Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: lunelovehe...@gmail.com CC: notm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY [not a bug] I just noticed that the desktop only has an option to show the next wallpaper when using slideshows. I think that adding another option to being able to see the previous wallpaper from the slideshow would be neat, as sometimes I like to use the last wallpaper before plasma changes it to the next one. there could also be nice to have an option to freeze the wallpaper on the current one when the user wants to, pretty much how media players do with previous/next/play-pause buttons but for the desktop wallpaper. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. right click the desktop 2. click previous desktop wallpaper 3. plasma plasma loads the previous wallpaper that was loaded before the current one SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.0-8.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION apart from that, I don't know if there's a way to allow plasma to fetch wallpapers from wallhaven.cc or similar places. but I think that that could be added as an addon for the desktop settings. I mainly wish for the previous wallpaper and the option to keep the current one for a while ignoring the timer that the slideshow option sets for changing wallpapers, or better, have no timer at all to switch wallpapers when using the slideshow and instead allow a manual change of the wallpapers. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
