Frameworks 6.8 seems to have made it (slightly) worse: in Kate and Konsole, I have to explicitly select "Breeze Dark" instead of "Default" in Settings --> Window Color Scheme. Thankfully, they both remember this setting every time I open them afterwards (at least for the rest of my my LXQt session), so maybe I should actually consider this an improvement, at least in a roundabout way lol.
