Notifications are supposed to be transient. In general, you should never be
"searching for a notification" but rather the thing it's notifying you of! And
if you dismiss a notification, saving it in the history is just going to
clutter it up and be annoying. So I don't think that's an ideal approach.
I think perhaps the path forward here is to make something sensible appear when
you search for "donate". We could do this easily if we created a small desktop
file that takes you to https://kde.org/donate. But where should it live? And
should it appear when browsing the menu structure? Probably not. Things to
consider.
