Bug ID: 497231 Summary: multimedia control notification: pause/play button does not work Classification: Applications Product: kdeconnect Version: 1.3.2 Platform: Android OS: Android 13.x Status: REPORTED Keywords: usability Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: android-application Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: bernd.wech...@gmail.com CC: andrew.g.r.hol...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Version of my Android App is in fact 1.32.5 - Play Store (I selected 1.3.2 as nearest option above). I use the multimedia control to control Kodi, playing music. KDE connect rocks (I use Kore - the Kodi Android app - as well, but KDE Connect saliently permits me to change to sound output device and seem son the whole more responsive too and to send Kodi custom commands ... just frigging awesome!) When controlling Kodi and playing music there is one awesome notification running on my phone. Shows me what's playing and has a Pause/Play button. Alas, tapping that button does nothing. The icon toggles to play when I tap pause. But tapping it again does nothing and the play is not paused. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Kodi on a server (not your phone) 2. Add the MPRIS addon: https://github.com/wastis/LinuxAddonRepo 3. Add some music to the library 4. Play some music 5. Install KDE Connect on the same server (and make sure kdeindicator is running) 6. Install KDE Connect on your android phone 7. Connect your phone to your server 8. Open the Multimedia Control page on your phone 9. Check the notifiation and try the pause/play button OBSERVED RESULT The pause symbol switches to a play symbol, but music keeps playing. EXPECTED RESULT Music should pause.
