@Rasto, if you're experiencing stability issues, I might recommend you try
updating to the latest release of Kdenlive. If you're using Kubuntu, you can
add this PPA to your system to get the latest stable release. In a terminal,
type these commands:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
If kdenlive is not installed, then replace the last command in the list above
with this one:
sudo apt-get install kdenlive
There have been numerous stability improvements in this version. See if that
works for you. :)
