Edward Viesel <edward.vie...@web.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |edward.vie...@web.de --- Comment #2 from Edward Viesel <edward.vie...@web.de> --- I can confirm this bug. Choosing an address of an attendee from KAddressBook in the format "Firstname Lastname" <firstname.lastn...@example.com> leads to the invitation being rejected. It is placed in the outbox of KMail with an error message in red. Clicking on it and selecting "send" sends this e-mail, and everything is fine from thereon. Interestingly enough, even though the error message mentions the syntax <"John Example" <some...@example.com>> as the cause for the rejection, I can see the address field of the message in the outbox, where the syntax is perfectly okay, displayed as: John Example <some...@example.com in the address field of KMail. And, of course, the e-mail is then sent correctly. It always happens. Error message: Fehler beim Übertragen der Nachricht. Message sending failed since the following recipients were rejected by the server: "Firstname Lastname" <firstname.lastn...@example.com> (The server responded: "<"Firstname Lastname" <firstname.lastn...@example.com>>: "@" or "." expected after ""Firstname Lastname""") I am running Kubuntu 15.10, KMail and KAddressBook are version 5.02, KOrganizer doesn't give a version under Help>About. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
