I have tried repeatedly for the past 45 minutes to get Dolphin to crash using "valgrind dolphin 2> log.txt" but it won't! However as soon as I ran Dolphin normally from the menu, not using valgrind, it crashed. I don't know if this is any help at all but Dolphin seems reliable when running slowly (in valgrind).
