Bug ID: 356150 Summary: Please take up Karbon into the Krita Foundation Product: krita Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: shaloksha...@riseup.net Hi there :) Krita is a wonderful product and i am sure, that the new development model, whichgoes independent from the rest of the Calligra suite, makes sense. Inkscape is for sure a nice vector based drawing app, for me is it more easy to develop with Qt and KDE libarys and other devs think similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON0A1dsQOV0 I know, that Inkscapes development is currently in front of Karbons and i think, that this can change quickly through porting Code from Inkscape to Karbon and the help of the Krita foundation. Karbon can be the pure vector version of Krita and with that, a nice partner on its side. :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.) Open Krita and Karbon, side by side. 2.) See the differences and how well they can work with each other ;) If someone fear, that a app like Karbon cannot rise up to a state of the art app, please read this: http://www.linux-magazine.com/Online/Features/Krita-KDE-s-Powerful-Graphics-Editor-Takes-on-Photoshop-and-GIMP -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
