wait let me get this correct..
Have you created the jspchar.java file and compiled it and it is in
the web-inf/classes folder??
And are you sure of the package name "import javaside.rbl.*;"
because it is case sensitive..may be it is Rbl or whatever.

And i hope u hv recompiled the jspchar.java file and u might have to
restart tomcat.(better to)

Is the error message exactly similar or are there any diff now??

now that i have put the
import javaside.rbl.*;

which happens to be my package i get similar error wherein the container is
unable to find the
jspchar.class..
