Most serious vendors support at least the servlet 2.1 API and I'd check out
http://www.serverpages.com/Java_Server_Pages/Servlet_Engines/ for a list of
engines. Everyone is not listed there though.

I represent the Orion Application Server (http://www.orionserver.com), which has
full Servlet 2.2 PR1 support and JSP 1.1 PR2 support and is free for development
(not for deployment though). Of course it works on linux.
