I have three ColdFusion openings in the NC area, all within Greensboro, NC, right in the middle of the state where Interstate 40 and Interstate 85 cross. Great area, nice location, low crime rate, and not a bad commute to get anywhere.
Both clients are web-enable SaaS providers in different niches and both are at the top of those niches in terms of customer focus, market placement, and leading edge approaches. SENIOR DEVELOPER - Fulltime/ Direct Hire - up to 100K - Candidate will work on the development team on both product oriented and infrastructure projects. The development team works on all phases of projects from planning to implementation and debugging. These are new hires on existing teams, so will be integrating into existing procedures and development approach. Direct report to VP Information Technology with some oversight by Technical Architects and Project Manager. REQUIREMENTS: • Expert in ColdFusion coding and building corporate websites and applications from top to bottom • Solid in all aspects of web development including • HTML • Page Layout • Image manipulation • JavaScript • CSS • XML • Solid SQL-based database experience (e.g. mySQL or MS SQL Server) • Experience developing on Linux platform • Clean, simple, elegant approach to coding (they do/will not use Fusebox, OOD/OOP, frameworks) • Open, collaborative, team environment (will not “own code” or be “the guy”, all share the work and recognition) PREFERRED/ NICE TO HAVE: • Experience with Shopping Cart technologies • Basic skills/ knowledge of graphic design and/or graphic software packages (do not have to be professional designer but will have worked somewhere where the appearance of your work mattered) • Macromedia Coldfusion Certification (MMCF or similar certification) • Experience working in flexible, less structured environments • Experience with latest updates/enhancements to HTML and FLASH. COMMUNICATION AND APPROACH SKILLS • Skilled in interpersonal communications and the use of positive win-win negotiations. • Project experience in a fast paced environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Proven ability to achieve departmental goals and deadlines while encouraging positive success-oriented thinking. • Positive problem-solving mentality that seeks solutions and improvements to processes to enhance the projects and the company. • History of success in overcoming obstacles in achieving department and company goals. • Experience with projects that required detailed analysis, new thinking and solution orientation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES • Analysis, design, coding and testing of web projects • Develop new products, enhance existing products and support all products. • Work in a team environment and bring new ideas to the table. • Perform other duties as assigned, added or changed in relation to executing the above role. WORK LOCATION Onsite in central NC. Telecommuting and sub-contracting are not options at this time. INTERMEDIATE DEVELOPER - salary to 70K - fulltime/ direct hire andidate will work on the development team on both product oriented and infrastructure projects.
