Title: Sr. Web Applications Developer
Location: Atlanta, Ga / Techwood Campus / www.PGA.com & www.PGATOUR.com

Keys:  Self-starter, excellent customer service skills, 7-10 years
experience developing data driven web based applications using ColdFusion,
Java, JSP, PHP, Javascript, HTML/XHTML, MySQL and/or similar type
applications/languages/DB’s.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, MIS, or other related field; 5
years software development, web development, and site support; 5 years
Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL database; Experience with HTML/XHTML,
JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, Ajax, XML, XSLT, UNIX is required; Experience with
ColdFusion, CommonSpot CMS, and ActionScript is a plus; Experience with
dynamic programming languages such as Java, JSP, or PHP, and web-based
content management system such as Drupal are desired; Experience with
Object-oriented development methodologies is preferred.

Duties: Sr. Web Developers are asked to develop, manage, enhance, and
operate applications including the content management system, site tools,
and other site-specific products such as live video players and
leaderboards. Primary duties include writing templates, scripts for content
syndication, and processes for content publication, all of which require
coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer reviewing, deploying,
monitoring, and support. Developers are also asked to design and architect
alternative solutions for proposed systems and applications. Developers must
work quickly and efficiently to create sites, applications, and solutions
for our customers in our fast-paced environment. Site monitoring and support
is required and developers participate in a rotating coverage schedule,
which includes nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have at least 5
years experience architecting and creating data-driven web applications
using ColdFusion, JSP, PHP, or a similar technology. Advanced HTML/XHTML,
JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, Ajax, XML, XSLT, and basic UNIX are all skills key
to creating successful products for the business. Developers must also show
the ability to clearly document work, create cross-browser compliant code,
follow standards and guidelines, and collaborate with others.
