POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

As a member of the Commercial Banking Engineering team, the Senior
Software Engineer is responsible for development, maintenance, and
support of the web application. Our goal is to serve the commercial
banking market with one platform that enables Financial Institutions to
attract, retain and better serve the online cash management needs of
their business customers.  Technologies used in this role are primarily
Cold Fusion, Java, C++, and SQL.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-          The Senior Software Engineer receives their assignments from
the Development Manager.

-          Gain a thorough understanding of Digital Insight's (1) SDLC
process, (2) development, QA, and production environments, and (3) Small
Business Product platforms.

-          Diagnose, resolve and test software defects.

-          Design, code, document, unit test, integration test feature
enhancements.

-          Technical leadership of other Engineering personnel.

-          Work with other Engineering personnel to ensure consistency
among Digital Insight products.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-          The Software Engineer must have a Computer Science (or
Engineering) degree

-          4+ years of System Development experience, Financial Services
or High Volume Transaction Systems.

-          Knowledge of Cold Fusion, JSP, JSF, Struts, relational
database (Oracle or SQL Server), Blue Dragon, MVC design patterns
(Fusebox), Windows, UNIX, web-based applications, system development,
scripting languages (PERL), Application Servers (WebSphere, JBoss).

-          Knowledge of J2EE (EJB), CORBA and C++; Ruby/RoR a plus.

-          The Software Engineer must communicate clearly, often through
spoken &/or written means.
