Hi [~mjsax] , I picked up this PR since I had not hear back from the previous
assignee and wanted to help move it forward.
I created a new PR so that the changes are up to date with version 4.0.0.
I also noticed 2 of the configs that are going to be changed, as per the
upcoming release 4.1.0, needs to be updated.
- windowed.inner.class.serde
- window.size.ms
I am happy to update these before 4.1.0 goes live. I was thinking of adding
“(Deprecated since 4.1)” next to each of these configs, and possibly including
a small code example (maybe from the tests in the relevant PR: [GitHub Pull
Request #18297|https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/18297]) to show how users
can make these updates. Does this approach sound reasonable to you?
