I analysed the commit mentioned in the comment as well as existing KIP and came
up with this updated KIP-711 [^KIP-711.md]
Please take a look and provide suggestions/comments.
Can you please give me access to update the KIP on
[wiki|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-711+Deprecate+org.apache.kafka.streams.errors.BrokerNotFoundException]
so that I can propose on dev list.
Also, please give me permission to assign this issue to myself.
