[~rajani] yes, please feel free to take it over. Perhaps we should revisit
other "unused" exceptions. Also, we need to discover their purpose to ensure
they are definitely unused. There was a patch adding "unused" tag to them
(https://github.com/apache/kafka/commit/240efbb99d9ee489251db0a8110936ad9eb0eb48).
not sure whether it implied those exception are still useful.
