Thanks @fonsdant! I tried it and got an error from `cut`. I'm on an Apple
Silicon Mac
```
$ ./committer-tools/update-cache.sh
cut: illegal option -- -
usage: cut -b list [-n] [file ...]
cut -c list [file ...]
cut -f list [-s] [-w | -d delim] [file ...]
Now, you can use 'git update-cache' as alias to execute this script.
```
