jfw and Commonwealth net bank

I know it has probably been covered before but I am new to netbank and 
trying to use it.  It lets me type in the username but I keep trying to 
type in the password and it keeps telling me I haven't typed in 6 
characters and for some reason it isn't typing characters on the screen 
seemingly.

Any suggestions?
