Hello (I write this both to B.D. as well as the JFW listserv): I have a Dell latitude CPIA (very simelar specs as your Dell Inspiron) with a Neomagic card (handling both video and sound). This machine is of course running windows98, and I am having the usual focus problems as well as occational "explorer has caused a general protection falt" messages (do you get those as well). I plan to attempt running Windows95 and/or Windows NT on this machine just to see whether it will make a difference, but wanted to see if this had ben done before (or at least involving the Neomagic chipset). I am trying to figure out whether the Neomagic card is going to give me problems or not (we're still in the 30 day money-backk window here).
