I've read several responses to this thread indicating that some of you
are successfully running higher color depths (16 or 24 bit) with JFW.
It might be more helpful if you'd indicate what video card you're
using. Specifically I'm using the Matrox G100 AGP video card and
would be very interested to know if anyone else using this card is
able to run JFW under higher color depths.
I think the inability of JFW to run under higher color depths is a
serious defficiency and is going to become moreso as technology
improves. I truly wish that HJ took this inadequacy with their
product more seriously, but alas, nothing I've heard or read indicates
that they are giving this any attention.
Nonetheless, if it is possible to get away with using higher color
depths with some video cards, I'd certainly like to know about them.
