9 months Cranston RI Job Duties • Develop mobile applications for Android • Help build functional requirements, technical design and implement application features • Field questions and solve problems for customer service and account management • Participate in design and code reviews • Participate in Agile process discussion and execution • Mentor other developers • Assist in feasibility analysis and estimation • Communicate status and escalate issues Group/Project: This group develops the mobile applications for consumer banking at Citizens. The responsibilities will be shared across the maintenance and redesign projects. Top 3 Skills: -Strong OO and coding experience. -At least 2 years developing Android applications. -Ideally a candidate will have a portfolio to speak to. Additional Requirements • 2+ years of Android Development • 5+ years of software development experience • A deep familiarity with Java and third party libraries • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON • Experience with third party libraries and APIs • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle • Experience with GIT or other code versioning tools *Candidates will ideally be able to assume a leadership position to work with more junior developers.
