Description:
This candidate will be a member of Platform Hosting Systems (PHS) MQ shared 
service team and will be responsible for managing Messaging shared service 
and its activities that include reviewing new customer requests for queuing 
needs, design and implement the queue managers in non-prod environments, 
complete documentation for stage and production implementation of queues. 
The candidate will provide support for building and maintaining the 
Enterprise MQ service as well as assist with work related to migrating 
subscribers from the EOL MQ to the new MQ platform and onboarding new 
customers.

This job requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 
Self-motivation and ability to learn quickly is essential.

Position Requirements:
• Ability to work with teams of people of vastly different skill and 
experience levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interface effectively with management, which includes business 
and technical teams.
• Excellent organizational, time management and judgment skills. Proven 
ability to make sound decisions.
• Experience in administration, installation and configuration of IBM Web 
Sphere MQ products
• Experience in IT, working with Message Oriented Middleware products.
• Experience working as an IT Architect designing solutions.
• 5-10 years or more experience with IBM Web Sphere MQ.
• 5+ years of experience writing and reviewing complex technical documents, 
specifications, and requirements.
• Strong architecture and design methodology background and 3+ years of 
experience working in a challenging environment with the technical 
architecture of a large enterprise.

Technical Requirements:
* HA using VCS
* Architect MQ infrastructure on Sun Sparc using LDOM's
* MQ Clustering
* MQ 7.5 Pub / Sub
* Security using SSL and Channel exits
* Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning
* Monitoring and management.
* Specification of implementation instructions, monitoring requirements, 
network hardware requirements, application-modification instructions.
* Providing leadership in the areas of standardization and best practices.
