I'm running Slackware-14.2 here and the latest JabRef version that runs is 3.8.2. Trying to run 4.0 or (today) 4.1 fails with this error:
Error: Could not find or load main class org.jabref.JabRefMain This error appears running it from /usr/bin/JabRef or by specifying 'java -jar JabRef-4.1.jar' in /opt/JabRef. The md5sum sums match.
